Alton Towers / VARM Graduation Creative Design [2023]
The world's first graduation in a haunted house!
For my graduation from Visitor Attraction and Resort Management, I had the opportunity to help in the planning of the event at Alton Towers.
RIDE PHOTO OVERLAY
Creation of an exclusive on-ride photo overlay for the event, only available to the graduates on their private tour of Alton Manor...
Each graduate received their own ride photo at the end of the attraction which could then be inserted into a newspaper clipping.
INVITATIONS
Invites were given out to all attendees of the event. With this design, I was keen to build on from the compelling narrative of the attraction - putting graduates into the story of Alton Manor.
YEARBOOK
Each graduate also received a 24 page yearbook; complete with photos and quote sections with words of well wishes supplied by industry leaders.
The front cover (pictured above) was conceived as a sketch of the parks most iconic attractions, later composited digitally to complete the design.
GRAPHIC EPHEMERA
A range of graphical ephemera created for the yearbook. It was really great fun to pick out more obscure references to the parks attractions with the creation of these graphics.
